How Liyasa works

Three steps to buy, four to sell. Your money is protected the whole way through.

Buying
  1. 1

Search like someone who knows what they are looking for.

Not just "red dress". A maroon silk lehenga with gold zari work, size 12, for a Baraat. Filter by occasion, colour, fabric, embellishment, embroidery colour, size and condition, and find the thing you actually had in mind.

  2. 2

    Pay without worrying.

Your money is held safely and does not reach the seller until your parcel does. Every item is sent tracked and insured, so nothing is riding on trust alone.

  3. 3

    Confirm, and it is yours.

Tell us it arrived as described and the seller gets paid. If something is not right, you have 72 hours to tell us and we will sort it.

Selling

One thing to know before you start. We need your payout details before you can list, so that a buyer who falls for your piece can actually pay you. It is a five minute job and a one-off.

  1. 1

    Set up payouts once.

Before you can list, we need your payout details so buyers can pay you. It takes about five minutes and you only need to do it once. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your bank details securely.

  2. 2

List it in minutes. It costs nothing.

Photograph it, pick the category, colour and occasion, set your price. No listing fee, no subscription, no catch.

  3. 3

Post it with a label we send you.

When it sells, we send a prepaid tracked label. Drop the parcel off and you are done.

  4. 4

    Get paid.

Once the buyer confirms, your money is released to the account you set up at the start. We only take a completion fee when something actually sells, starting at £1.50. That outfit has been in a bag for two years. Now it is somebody’s wedding.
